How to use PNG to PDF

  1. Add your PNG screenshots or scans. JPG files are accepted in the same batch.

  2. Arrange the order with the arrows. The top file becomes the first page.

  3. Choose A4, Letter or Fit to image. Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its picture.

  4. On A4 or Letter, set portrait or landscape and a margin. Images are scaled to fit the page and kept whole.

  5. Tap Make PDF and the file downloads to your device.

Questions about png to pdf

What happens to transparent areas?
JPEG and print have no concept of transparency, so see-through areas are filled with white before the page is built. Nothing turns black.
Can I mix PNG and JPG?
Yes. Both are accepted, and they can be reordered freely before export.
Is there a file limit?
Each file can be up to 50 MB. There is no cap on how many you add, though a very long list will be slower on an older phone.
Will a screenshot of text stay sharp?
Yes. PNG is embedded losslessly, so text in a screenshot keeps the sharpness it had. If it looks soft in the PDF, the screenshot itself was low resolution.
Can I use this on a phone?
Yes. It runs in the phone's browser like any web page. Very large batches are slower on budget phones, so convert in groups of twenty or so if it struggles.
