Questions about pdf to jpg

Which DPI should I choose?
300 DPI for anything going to a printer, 150 for normal use, and 72 when the image is only going to be viewed on a screen or uploaded with a tight size limit.
Can I convert only one page?
Convert the PDF, then download just the page you want from the grid. Each thumbnail is its own download.
Does it work on a password-protected PDF?
Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then convert.
How do I get just the first page of a PDF as an image?
Convert the file, then tap the thumbnail for page 1. Each thumbnail downloads on its own, so you do not need the ZIP.
Why are 300 DPI files so large?
A 300 DPI A4 page is about 2480 by 3508 pixels, roughly seventeen times the pixels of the 72 DPI version. That detail is what a printer needs, and more than any screen or upload form does.
