How to use Passport Photo Maker

  1. Choose the photo: a JPG, PNG or WebP, taken face-on against a plain wall.

  2. Pick the photo size. 35 × 45 mm covers passport, PAN and most exam forms; 51 × 51 mm is the 2 × 2 inch visa size; Custom takes any width and height in millimetres.

  3. Drag the photo inside the frame, or use the Horizontal and Vertical sliders, until the face sits where the form's guidelines want it.

  4. Set the file size limit the portal states: under 100 KB, 50 KB, 20 KB, or your own figure.

  5. Tick Clean up the background if the wall behind you is plain but not white.

  6. Tap Download photo for the upload, or set the paper and copies and tap Download print sheet to print several at their true size.

Questions about passport photo maker

How do I get my photo under 100 KB?
Choose the size limit — 100 KB, 50 KB, 20 KB or your own figure — and the tool searches for the highest JPEG quality that still fits. If even the lowest quality overshoots, it reduces the pixel size and tells you it had to.
What size is an Indian passport photo?
35 × 45 mm. The same size is accepted for PAN applications, most competitive exam forms and college admissions. At 300 DPI that is 413 × 531 pixels.
Can I control where the face sits?
Yes — drag the photo inside the frame, or use the two position sliders if you are on a keyboard. Head position is a more common reason for rejection than file size.
Will it remove the background?
It can lift a plain studio wall to white, which is what most passport photos need. It cannot cut a person out of a photo taken in a busy room — no browser tool can do that honestly without downloading a large model first.
Can I print several copies on one sheet?
Yes. Set the number of copies and download a print sheet — the photos are placed at their true millimetre size with cut lines, ready for a normal A4 printer at 100% scale.
