Card & Document Print Layout

Upload the front and back of a card you already have, and place copies on an A4 sheet at exact card size — ready to cut and laminate. Nothing is generated: this arranges images you supply.

Processed in your browser — nothing is uploaded

PrintMitra is an independent document-preparation and print-layout tool. It does not create, issue, authenticate or verify any government document, and is not affiliated with any government body.

This tool arranges card images you already have. To build new cards for a school, college or office from a list of names, use the ID Card Maker instead.

For a card that comes out the right size

  • Scan at 300 DPI or higher. A phone photo at an angle will print skewed — lay the card flat.
  • Crop to the card's edges before uploading, so the printed size matches the original.
  • Print at 100% scale. 'Fit to page' is the usual reason a card comes out too small for its pouch.

Card scans stay on this device — they are read in your browser and never uploaded

Questions about card & document print layout

What does this tool actually do?
It arranges images you upload onto a sheet at an exact physical size. It does not create, generate, fill in or verify any document — the front and back you upload are what gets printed.
Can I use it to print my Aadhaar or PAN card?
You can lay out a scan of a document you already hold, the same as you would in any image editor. PrintMitra does not issue, reproduce from data, authenticate or verify any government document, and is not connected to any government body. For the official copy of a government document, use that department's own portal.
What size should I choose?
CR80 — 85.6 × 54 mm — is the standard plastic card size and what a laminator pouch expects. Use the custom option for anything else, measured with a ruler.
How do I get the front and back to line up?
Print the sheet, then feed the same sheet back for the reverse pass, or place front and back side by side and fold. The layout keeps both at identical size so the edges match.
How is this different from the ID Card Maker?
The ID Card Maker builds new institutional cards from a spreadsheet of your own records — a school's student list, an office's staff list. This tool does no generating at all; it only lays out card images you already have.

The other steps in the same job.
